Here you’ll find cinematic adventure—a fast moving, tightly crafted plot populated with memorable characters (not unlike yourselves) who are forced to hit the ground running when unforeseen events overtake them. Just to keep the setting interesting, throw in a collapsed black hole whose fiery double-helix spews out parallel universes as well as light.

Book I begins with castaways from a doomed colony ship, crew and settlers who represent the best and worst of Terran society—unwilling outcasts who find themselves marooned on an already inhabited planet orbiting a neutron star. They are not welcome!

While there are some who would reestablish a political system based on militaristic feudal holdings, there are others who soon come to realize that the colony’s rigid code of caste and discipline is far more alien than this hostile world upon which they find themselves! It will be up to them to make their own way, with whatever ingenuity and talent they possess.
